J.P. Sunshine - J.P. Sunshine (1968)
This piece of classic '68 flower power captures the feel of the times perfectly. Although not released until 1995 as a limited edition of 550 on vinyl by Rod Goodway's own label -Uncle Glitch.
OK here's a treat for all Magic Muscle fans which I almost forgot, recorded in a front room in 1968 on home tape equipment, I present, warts 'n' all, Adrian Shaw's first gig on bass, with Rustic Rod Goodway, Andy Rickell (later aka Android Funnel), Pete Biles and others. Do NOT expect pristine studio quality, there are some tape issues & glitches, but nothing that really impairs the listening pleasure that is J.P. Sunshine, Rod's voice is superb and there's some great guitar work.
